Meet URL Decode and Encode, a straightforward web application that does exactly what it says on the tin: fast and easily decodes from URL-encoding as well as encodes into it. You may easily URL-encode your data or convert it to a human-readable format.
• Character set: When encoding textual data, the character set is not included in the encoding scheme, thus you must indicate which character set was used. The most common choice is UTF-8, although there are numerous more; if you are unsure, experiment with the settings or use the auto-detect option. The decoded data is converted using this information to the character set of our website so that all letters and symbols may be correctly displayed. Note that since files don't require any web-safe transformations, this is useless for them.
• Decode each line separately: Since continuous text is typically used to encode data, even newline characters must be turned into their percent-encoded equivalents. To protect the integrity of the input, all non-encoded whitespaces are removed before decoding. If you want to decode many independent data items that are separated by line breaks, you should use this option.
• Live mode: When enabled, this setting prevents any data from being sent to our servers by decoding input data instantly using JavaScript features integrated into your browser. Only the UTF-8 character set is supported by this option at the moment.
Our servers are only ever contacted over secure SSL encrypted connections (https). We promptly remove submitted files from our servers after processing them, and the downloaded file is also removed after the first download attempt or after 15 minutes of inactivity (whichever is shorter). The information contained in submitted data or uploaded files is not saved or reviewed by us in any manner. For additional information, see our privacy statement below.
It's free to utilize our tool. For such easy actions going forward, you won't need to download any software.
